About The Product
The TM016, like the Metrix ST5484E, is a solid state, loop powered vibration transmitter which provides a 4-20mA output proportional to the machine case vibration level. The 4-20mA output interfaces directly to any PLC or DCS for shutdown, alarm or trending.
The TM016 is easy to install on the machine case. The 4-20mA outputs proportional to velocity or acceleration and have been certified to operate at high temperatures and includes configurable band pass filters. The TM016 sensor and electronics is compacted into a steel casing and laser welded offering the most rugged device in the industry yet competitively priced.
Options are available for hazardous and non-hazardous location with additional mounting and display options. Like the ST5484E Metrix vibration transmitter, it is also a self-contained, loop-powered seismic velocity vibration transmitter that incorporates a piezo-electric accelerometer, signal integrator, RMS peak detector and 4-20 mA signal conditioner.
